CD Player Day With the rise of digital downloads, MP3s and integrated media devices in the house and on the move, the humble CD player may become a thing of the past. 1. So is there an 8-Track Player Day?

I still have a CD player and the thought that my collection of around 200 CDs may become obsolete is disturbing, particularly since I waited until midway through the 90s to move from cassettes to CDs.

2. I am just now sorting thru some things and

I think it's time to part with my cassettes and right next to the desk from which I am typing is my CD rack. I am not nearly ready to assign them to the trash can yet.....

3. Yes, I do feel have some reassurances

I can play both CDs and DVDs on my computer so I should be safe for awhile.
