Now that Halloween is upon us I'm helping myself to a few fun sizes every day. I just finished a butterfinger and it brought me great pleasure.
It got me to thinking of weird/rare candy bars that don't get much love.
My favorite underrated candy bar:

(43,182 posts)For reasons more sentimental than anything else (unfortunately I don't eat candy bars as much as I used to, as much as I wish otherwise.)
I just remember driving to the beach one day, sun shining brightly, listening to Dire Straights' "Sultans of Swing" on the radio, and eating a Nutrageous bar, and life just felt good at that moment. So I associate Nutrageous with that.
But it is pretty tasty to boot.

(4,033 posts)here in Western Pennsylvania. My 85 year old Mom likes their fried fish on Fridays. I don't like them, because they give you too much food.

(7,611 posts)Curiously enough, the only time I buy one is sometimes when I'm at Home Depot. A lot of places don't carry them and I don't buy many candy bars anyway.

(5,364 posts)I eat maybe a half-dozen candy bars a year, but I do love Chunky "bars". Not many places carry them.

(9,002 posts)Although I hate them it's the definition of underrated as you can't find them.
