Ok we did 10min+. Time for best song between 7-10 minutes and length

I just love those long songs. If a song is really good I don't want it to end after 3 minutes.

Obviously there are too many to choose from with Led Zeppelin including

'How Many More Times' (LZ1) - 8:21 minutes
'Since I've Been Loving You' (LZ3) - 7:24 (Best JP Guitar Solo if you ask me!)
'Kashmir' (PG) - 8:37
'In the Light (PG) - 8:47
'The Rain Song' (HotH) - 7:39

Anyone whop puts Stairway on this list is Dead to me! Just saying

Also one of my favorite new artist tends to do most of his songs longer than 5 minutes. Two of my favorites from Damien Rice's last album 'My Favourite Faded Fantasy' include
'It Takes a Lot to Know a Man' - 9:32
'Trusty and True' - 8:09

Trust me if you want to impress a romantic partner, get this album!

Post your favorite songs that are greater than 7 minutes in length but less than 10 minutes. I'm sure I'll post more along the way!

The quintessential Pumpkins song. Not necessarily their best (although arguably one of their best) but the one that just simply defines who they were as a band and how they sounded.

Plus about half the oevre of Rory Gallagher, plus so many other jams in rock and jazz you might as well stop counting. It's always fun when a good band stretches out for a few minutes.

'It Better End Soon' by Chicago Transit Authority.

Terry Kath cuttin' the guitar, free-form flute solo, and Pankow's brass arrangements. Top notch stuff.
