We've just finished watching all ten episodes that make up the first season.
It was very good, but omigod, the various threads of the story are amazing and complex. Some parts are hard to watch. There is lots of violence and scary tension.
I'm curious to hear if anyone has also seen all the episodes. And of course, what you think of them. There's no indication that there will be more episodes, but I'm pretty sure there will be.
Your thoughts?

(15,813 posts)I think I read somewhere that it was already back in production.
Loved it - especially the last few episodes. There were a few scenes that were incredibly hard to see (like the sister and kids, and the dump) but it really was a well done series.

(149,804 posts)I looked it up on IMDb and there was a listing for 2016, but it didn't say when it would be showing.
The only thing that routinely bugged me was the fact that so often the dialogue was mumbled or spoken way too softly. Otherwise, I loved it too.

(11,833 posts)I felt it really picked up steam around the fourth episode. I liked the way they handled the alternative history, and thought it was very entertaining. Some really cool plot twists. Among my favorite actors in it were the female lead, the Japanese trade minister, the Dutch-German resistor and the wife of the Japanese business man. I'm pretty sure I read recently that amazon has picked it up for another season.
