Reddit has gone to shit.

It's always had a lot of emotionally stunted Libertarian STEM-lord turds, but in just the past couple years most of the popular subreddits, especially the news subreddits, have become unreadable because the people who run the website are doctrinaire Libertarians whose free speech absolutism has allowed Stormfronters and other Neo-Reactionaries free reign with their (and I quote the current Reddit CEO) "Valuable Discussion".

/r/WorldNews is basically a ghetto of Islamophobes and White Supremacists, now.

I give Reddit 2 years before everyone with a brain has left and Reddit's owners at Conde Nast wonder what happened.

1. Reddit was never a particularly valuable news source.

It is valuable as a place where odd people can tell you something that happened to them this week.

I only go there about once a month, usually from links from other sites. They still have some smart people talking about everyday experiences.
