http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Some-McDonald-s-Mozzarella-Sticks-Are-Missing-a-6788037.phpThe culprit? Its mozzarella sticks.
As reported by Business Insider, it seems there have been cases where the concoction is missing a key ingredient -- cheese -- and customers arent lovin it.
The uproars evident as folks post pictures of the offense online, charging the fast food company of serving them nothing but "fried air."

(12,132 posts)And I will eat most any swill. But they managed to ruin a perfectly great horrible-for-me snack. On the sticks that had "cheese" in them, they tasted and felt like powder. No idea what that was.
luckily my favorite pizza delivery joint has them and will even bring them to me. And those ones are deeeeeelicious.

(78,249 posts)It holds the toppings and sauce together without tasting like, you know, cheese. But these damn Bay Area foodies are stating to mess around with other cheeses. Believe it or not, many joint's "San Francisco pizza" has feta!

(14,691 posts)I purchased a cheapie ziti with cheese microwavable dinner. Of course the cheese as shown on the "serving suggestion" cover photo was thick and stringy. When I heated it according to directions and then opened the box - no cheese. It was apparently vaporized. I managed to preserve what cheese actually was in the package by adjusting the instructions the next time.
