2. I did that to my grandmother

except I put them in the hinges for every door in the house so that when they were closed they went off. On the doors that stay closed, I rigged it so it would still work.

This first one scared the crap out of her. Then my parents got home and the next one scared the crap out of them. I then had to run through the house as they chased, closing doors I as went and trying to convince them my little sister (a toddler at the time) had done it.


My parents only used corporal punishment once in my life, and this wasn't it, but it almost came to be the second.

Yearls later, once I was bigger than my my mom, I had to work at getting her riled up. I knew if I got there when she would just snap and say, "You son of a bitch!"

I got her to say that once in a hotel gift shop where some other people saw it. I replied in a faux concerned voice, "But mom, that's you."
That was another time I almost got hit.
