1. The one at Foggy Bottom does
Meanwhile the one in the 17th Arrondissement looks like it could be from Baltimore.

6. Really? I haven't been there in a long while, so I don't know...
Not to mention, I don't really frequent the golden arches so...

12. Yes, it looks like the 1st picture.
Very understated signage and visual profile. It's a lovely McDonalds. There are similar ones in the midtown area of NYC.
I don't like the 2nd and 3rd pictures. The 2nd picture looks like the cafeteria of a federal low-sec prison for white-collar criminals. (Minus the artwork.) The third one looks like an airport food-court. Ugly, ugly and discomfiting. |

13. Protecting an open stairwell?
Looks to me like an open stairwell (for some reason) toward the right.

4. It's like an unholy marriage
of Bauhaus, Apple Store, and 80s kitsch. And it's a McDonalds. Why exactly do we want this in the US?

Or any country?

9. I prefer my local McD's
it's got a golf theme - I'm not into golf, but the green Tartan-patterned walls and pictures of Scotland are cool
I do not need "upscale" fast food |
