I've been making green smoothies lately from a book with the most delicious recipes I've ever had (crazy sexy juice by Kris Carr.)

Here's the one I'll make today:

granny smith apple pie

Makes two servings (20-24 oz.)

1 banana, frozen
1 Granny Smith apple, cored, peeled, and seeded
1.5 cups kale, leaves only, tightly packed
1.5 cups pumpkin seed milk, or nondairy milk of choice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pitted Medjool date (optional)

Wash and prep all ingredients.
Blend and serve.

Frozen bananas act as a base and help with the texture. The apple will help overpower the flavor of the kale.

It will be a very dark green. Ignore how it looks and pay attention to the taste instead
