And I'm an old Ohio boy. Zzyzx Road is an exit off of I-15 In southern California. I never took that exit, but if I ever get out there again and I have some free time I might have to.

Do new bands sound as good live as they do in the studio?

Example,this is real close live.

He collaborates a lot with an MC from NJ named Tab, who I think is the best MC working today. Here's an example:

my faves, the T Sisters: Not sure what you call it as far genre goes. They kind of do something that only they do.

These women put on some amazing concerts. hard to describe. Baskery:

Singer/songwriter, blues musician, lots of things, Shelly King.

Amazing blues guitarist and singer extraordinaire Carolyn Wonderland:

Celtic punk rock (or something like that) Screaming Orphans:

Not much music out there like her. Great songs, band, especially the bassist, kicks ass and she sings a bit like Ani DiFranco. She has some great acoustic jam in the van performances as well.

Live she burns the house down.

And I like this one. It has a 90s grunge sound -- very catchy.
