TODAY IN TV HISTORY: ‘THE WEST WING’ MADE ALL FUTURE SUPREME COURT VACANCIES A LOT MORE INTERESTING.

And while the Obama administration has found itself with a whole set of confirmation obstructions that even the writers of The West Wing couldn’t come up with, it was still hard not to imagine a universe where the death of Antonin Scalia might have led to Glenn Close getting a seat on the Supreme Court.
