1. Dos Equis Ambar was my favorite Mexican beer.

Tasty and I could drink a whole bunch of it without it hurting my head the next day.

I haven't had a drink in about a month.

Or, if not, happy to take recs for Mexican beer I can't get here. That's half the fun of going someplace new - drink their beer!

13. It's from Monterrey, so probably not available in Cozumel

But look for anything that says Artesanales (Craft).

Also try the pulque if you get a chance.

15. One of the main reasons I love Negra Modelo

is that several years ago I got the Bell's Palsy. I had to drink everything from a straw for a month. I didn't lose my straws in those stubby little NM bottles. And it's pretty darn good.
