Trivia question for the times--NO google, Yahoo or otherwise looking it up!

Out of your high school American History or other recesses of your memory...

Assuming Hillary Rodham Clinton is elected our 45th President, how many pairs of Presidents will have shared the same last name? How many of those pairs were blood relations (without going back centuries)?

Don't spoil it for the others by naming names, just numbers, e.g. 10 pairs, 7 of them blood related (not correct, btw!). Anyone can use Google. Please don't look it up until after you post what you think is the answer!

Note to Republican "visitors:" fair warning--if you get even half of them right, you risk being expelled from your party for being an intellectual pointy head. Don't say you weren't told ahead of time!

Then I would assume you would count the guy who was related to himself?

Then I would come up with 7 pairs, of which 6 are related.

If not, then 6 and 5.

Go back far enough and you'll probably find a common ancestor for all of them.
Allen Sherman's Ooga Magoog is a candidate, I'm sure......

- John and John Quincy Adams (father and son)
- Teddy and Franklin Delano Roosevelt (distant cousins)
- George H.W. and George W. Bush (father and son)
-Assuming HRC is elected President, it'll be the first time we had husband and wife Presidents, albeit at different times--Bill and Hillary Clinton.
