I thought a friend of mine had gone full blown insane on me last night.
I was talking to him on my cell phone out in the sticks when I dropped the call and couldn't reconnect. He later sent me a text. It was friendly and we had been talking about writing when I dropped the call. He had just started writing as a hobby and said he would keep doing it. I got the text a couple of hours after he sent it and responded that I was looking forward to checking out his stuff.
He immediately replied with something to the effect of, "Go fuck yourself. Don't text or call me." I was very perplexed. I texted him back asking what the problem was and he said, " The FBI is on you." I had no idea what I had done to upset him. He had been drinking when I talked to him earlier so I thought it might have something to do with that. I was very worried, but decided it would be best not to contact him until today.
I got up today and there was a text from him. He apologized and said that he thought he was talking to a telemarketer last night when he was talking to me.
