Why does Christmas end on Dec. 25th at 6PM

as if someone pulls the curtain on a play?

I have often wondered why we in the US don't stretch it out a bit more.
Maybe it's because merchants have wrung every nickel out of Christmas that they can and it is time to go for the next big buck?

Why can't we ease back to reality?
Especially this year as we await the spawn of Satan.

It goes on until January 6, when the Three Wise Men show up.

But I know what you mean.

What I don't understand is why you don't hear "Winter Wonderland " after Christmas. In DC, the snowy season is the last week of January through the first three weeks of February. Look it up. That's when you should be hearing songs about dashing through the snow and sleigh rides.

Don't be fooled; it was cheaper at Aldi.
