Cat changes tv to Foxnews, then mutes.....

Brice (named for the Nats slugger) walked into the living room, hopped upon the end table, and began pawing the remote. Before anyone could stop her, she had changed MSNBC over to Faux News. Upon realizing her horrible mistake (at least I assume, her eyes went big as dinner plates when the tv changed,) she pounced on the remote one more time, pressing the mute button.

I could almost hear her thoughts: "I was just trying to mess with you guys, I didn't mean to do THAT!"

Poor kitty, she's been hiding in the back bedroom under the bed ever since, obviously riddled with guilt. No one yelled or anything, we just praised her quick and decisive action.

but I do not want to expose them to Trumps voice without me being there to shut it off or mute him so I leave it off now.

No Fox News on our TV - not unless I changed providers.

But cats will do the darndest of things. One has me trained well... cat food is out on the front porch, cats and dogs can come in and out of the house as they please via the doggy door that leads out back. But this cat doesn't want to use doggy door if I'm around, pounces on me instead. I figure out she's hungry, so open the front door to let her out to the food. But when I'm not home, somehow she figures out how to use the doggy door (the cats figured out how to use it before the dog) and go out and feed herself.

Cats are interesting creatures.
