...who were the only two actors who appeared in both silent films, and 21st century films? John Gielgud, and Mickey Rooney...

David Duchovny played Rollie in the 1992 film. Son Jack played another cameraman in the same film.

Norman Lloyd best known for portraying Dr Auschlander on St Elsewhere and the rigid schoolmaster in Dead Poets Society. 103 and worked as recently as 2015.

Curt Bois, (1901-1991) started as child actor in 1907 in Germany. He fled in the 30's due to the Jewish persecution. He ended his career in 1987 (Wings of Desire). Best known as the pickpocket in Casablanca.
