It's the sound a big crinkly bag of crunchy cat treats.

The biggest sale of PC gaming sales is steams Summer and Winter sales.

Today marks the beginning of this year's summer sale.

They're infamous for having a reputation of discounts as low as 90% off. Though with time, things have changed somewhat.

It's still the best sale around though.

I can't recommend it enough, and it looks like it's probably going to go on sale during this sale.

It's the RPG game where you don't have to kill anyone. It's a choice-based game where your choices actually matter. The storyline is incredibly deep and surprisingly emotional. Also, it was originally a Kickstarter and the dev team was basically one guy (with a little help in design from a couple of others) who also composed all of the music himself.

Friend....

Night in the Woods is better. Story wise anyway. In my opinion.

But Undertale is an indie masterpiece indeed. The gameplay is it's strong point and alot of people LOVE the characters and story but, I find Night in the Woods to be more my cup of literary tea. Less fiction. A hell of a lot more real.

Any other recommendations? Let's trade recommendations!

But I've watched a Let's Play and it is really excellent, as well. I liked it a lot, but still give the edge to Undertale, just a personal preference.

I don't play a whole lot of games, honestly! This year has been a bit of an aberration for me, as I've actually finished two games already. I got The Last Guardian for Christmas and had a great time with that one, and then I also finished Horizon: Zero Dawn just recently and was just blown away by that one.

Other than that I play a lot of Binding of Isaac

Of walking in Mae Borowski's shoes.

NITW's story is much deeper than the surface shows. It's wrenching and heartwarming.

It changed my life a little bit. I'm serious as hell.

Also, I have the last guardian, it keeps losing my interest! Should I push through?

And I'm going to surprise my wife for her bday with horizon zero dawn, is it as good as they say?

I'm going to get NITW and play through that a few times to see a few of the different endings/activities. I watched Jack Septiceye play through and he jumped around a bunch of different folks, missed a few little details like the rats in the empty apartment, a bunch of the constellations, etc...

I loved The Last Guardian, but controlling Trico was sometimes distractingly aggravating, so I can understand not necessarily getting through it. If you really bond with your giant bird dog dragon, the game becomes a little richer and easier to get into.

I thought H:ZD was fantastic. It's gorgeous, first of all. The landscapes are really stunningly beautiful. The story line is very good, and the combat is very satisfying. I sort of think of it as a cross between Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, and Far Cry. What's not to love about fighting hostile robot dinosaurs with bows and arrows?
