"Hey Little Cobra" by the Rip Chords, included record producer Terry Melcher as lead singer.

Nothing to do with Ford Cobras, but interesting side story:

Melcher also worked with The Beach Boys, and Dennis Wilson introduced him to Charles Manson.

Melcher turned down Manson's request to record him, which angered Manson, who later sent his disciples to Melcher's rented home at 10050 Celo Drive, in the Benedict Canyon area of Beverly Hills, to kill him.
However, Melcher had told his mother, Doris Day, about Manson having been in his house, and she insisted that he move out immediately, which he did in January, 1968.
Manson's followers went to the house on Celo Drive on August 9, 1968, because Manson thought Melcher still lived there.
Instead, they went to 10050 Celo Drive and murdered 8-months-pregnant actress Sharon Tate and four others.

By getting him out of that house, Doris Day saved her only son's life.
