What's your favorite 80's song?

Of COURSE there's too many sillies! But I think with the "Black Mirror" episode called "San Junipero this classic totally has new meaning for me.

So let's hear it, what song makes you remember leg warmers, pleated pants, SWATCH watches and Pac-Man?

1. There are so many fun songs from the '80s.

2. I have too many to count, really.

But, if forced at gunpoint, it would probably be something from the Smiths.

5. Agreed. The Smiths were the greatest band of the 80s.

There, I said it.

Was one of the tracks played at the gym where I did aerobics in a purple bodysuit.
Met my wonderful husband of 30 years at that gym.

10. I hated them all back then

but I've grown to recognize the genius. I'm a huge Men at Work fan - I'd love to see Colin Hay next time he comes through here - I found out he tours a lot. Overkill is such a great song.

12. yes that is a great song too

The main reason why I wasn't interested in new wave or 80s pop - I was listening mostly metal and all my friends did too and when you're a dumb teenager you sometimes forget you can be yourself. I still love all the metal from the 80s but I'm glad I got over myself enough to love the non-metal too.

18. "Alive and Kicking"

It was popular when I first got married and was living in Hawaii. It reminds me of a wonderful period of my life.
