I believe that Imgur is also being used by some here.

I may have been willing to pay a small amount to Photobucket, but they are too expensive for my budget.

And decided that people would be happy to pay $400 for their previously free service that's still readily available for free from other providers.

I weeded out a lot and deleted them, but the ones I wanted I moved to a folder on my laptop Then I uploaded them to postimg.org. I hope you can still get into your gallery.

Even before they announced their new terms, the site was becoming increasingly difficult to use. Jumping to ads, freezing up, etc. SO glad they force me to find something else.

I tried posting a pic here last night and got a rude upgrade notice. Then gave up.

Will try to gather gallery before moving.

Don't know why all all the extra link language is there for postimg.org. But deleting extra worked. Uploaded easily once I linked to gmail address.

Thanks.

Btw, I was trying to post this image last night re: new Oval Office decor with portrait of Andrew Jackson, Indian killer, slave owner and two term POTUS prominently displayed.

I've been paying them about $20 a year forever, and I am still able to upload my photos there and then share them here. I just did that a couple of days ago.

We'll see if they take any action against me.

But did notice the pop-up ads becoming more intrusive. I just went to desktop version to see if i could easily delete and it's a mine field of ads.

I'm just going to let it go.

I only have 6 photos tied to their service. They can keep them. None of them are worth $66.66 to me.

why do we have to use a third party website to upload pictures on du?

why can't it be done like facebook where you can post pictures directly from your computer file?

(i've always wondered about this)

i'd appreciate it if someone could explain this to me--i'm not exactly a computer wizard.

He could probably do it but it would cost him a lot more. He would then have to pester us more for donations. I'm guessing he doesn't want to do that.
