So a very cool thing happened this morning.

I went into the group shop to check my booths and there was a guy there piling up merchandise on the counter to buy. One of the clerks mentioned to me that he was a props guy. I asked where, assuming it was someone from the local theatre group. Guess what he told me . . . from Comedy Central! Apparently it's one of his favorite haunts. I knew we got some day trippers from the city, but I had no idea about this. (Although that show with Ty Pennington that used to be on was in the area one year building a house and they bought some stuff.) I learned something new, too. Were you aware old, rusty coiled springs like from vehicles or furniture are used as décor? $8 for a 10" tall rusty spring. Amazing.

Each to his own, I guess. Maybe it's that steam punk look.
