If I wanted to paint my cat I would use spray paint...he doesn't like it, too sticky on his fur...

A good job with proportions and the cat's position and cattitude. You're right about painting animals; I've done three cats and a dog and found them challenging. The fur is the hardest part. You've included some good highlights. Is this live or from a photo?
