My 6 year old granddaughter is newly inspired by an M.C. Escher book,

so gotta do some of my own research; no 'high class' art places near here that I'm aware of.

where I lived for 20 + years and became familiar with many resources.

Am in an 'exurb' now, kind of suburban/rural combo. Gotta study book stores! Just spent 2 hours in 2d-hand shop, where I got 10+ books for grands, but growing sophistication will be challenging!

A while back as a gift and I brought it into my 1st grade class and they loved it. I just looked on-line and they have them very reasonable priced....

For one I know the NYC Metropolition Museum of Art has thousands of high resolution images. I'm also sure there are some open courseware on art online someware for help w basic skills.
