I just had a painting accepted in a local show!

The theme of the show is "Immigration" and how it has affected us personally. To see the painting, go to my blog and scroll down to the one called "Busha's".

It's not my best work, and quite honestly, I did the painting with the theme of the show in mind.

put three paintings in for consideration, the judge actually took one. I was surprised since I just dabble as a hobby.

It was fun though.

but after you've been accepted into many shows and venues (and that will happen), and sold more and more paintings ... well, the excitement MAY wear off. Just remember, we knew you before you became famous.

Congrats! (and network, network, network)
