Question-How does one get photos into a thread?

I have tried cutting and pasting, but alas! No pictures are showing up. Please help. I have a mac and use an iphone.

I use postimages.org. Once you've stored your photos on the site you select the one you want to copy to DU and a URL is created for your photo. You paste that URL in your DU post, et voila!
