I liked tonight's episode, didn't end like I thought it would. Bit sad but excited for the news of what is to come.

But I thought it was a great end and can't wait now for next season. Strange that Hershel appeared since, well, the actor died. Also, Rick could now be in a spinoff if they wanted. That's sure a mysterious departure.

They were unofficially told that Rick would in fact die. I was flipping between the show and football but made sure I watched the last 15 minutes. Surprised but not shocked. One of the producers was on Talking Dead and he said there were going to be several spin offs or off shoots including Rick and others.
