Embraceable You (Girl Crazy, 1943)

I was watching "Catch Me If You Can" last night (2002, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Christopher Walken ) and there are a few scenes where the Judy Garland version of the popular Gerswin song is played.

The first version I have here is from the movie "Girl Crazy" but I believe it was the second--and more contemplative version-- Decca recording, which was used in the 2002 film.

share romantic moments to the song.

The song is insanely romantic! It would take a real sweetheart to have these as favorite songs!

I think people also forget how tremendously popular Judy Garland was with everyone. It wasn't just us gay guys!

We all love(d) her!

Dad was a real sweetheart, very romantic and sentimental, tho quietly so; my brother and I are probably among the few remaining who who know it.
