Costa-Gavras' film from 1969 about the Greek counter revolution is an astounding flick. Filmed in Algeria in French. The cast is top notch here.

Won the foreign language film Oscar.

Well worth viewing. A fast paced political thriller based on real events.

Jean-Louis Trintignant is great as the magistrate.

3. Why does TCM play "Z" when I'm sleeping?

Again, TCM plays "Z" at 3 am (Pacific time) and I don't have a DVR. 5 times I've tried, and they banish this movie to the grave zone.

Geez! Never seen it. I think I will send a note to TCM.

You can generally watch their films for a week or so after broadcast.

Or click on the Watch TCM option on the TCM homepage. In both cases you have to sign in to prove that you have TCM on your cable system (or satellite TV, I suppose).
