I recognized Bruce Cabot, and worked backwards from there.

The movie was King Kong (1933), and the second actor was Robert Armstrong.

Second clue: As with the 1940 Pride and Prejudice, we're talking Academy Award winners, though it wasn't in this particular film that each gentleman won an acting Oscar.

Two Oscar winners:

Christian Bale was the boy.

Paul Scofield was the King of France.

The film: Kenneth Branagh's Henry V.

Also in the cast Oscar winners Emma Thompson
and Judi Dench.

You know your movies and your actors.

The 1989 Henry V was, as you say, fairly populated with past and future Oscar nominees (including Ian Holm and Branagh himself) and winners, though the film itself only took the statuette for Phyllis Dalton's costume designs.

Trivia note: Judi Dench's real-life husband, Michael Williams, did some fine work as the soldier who has a crucial pre-battle encounter with the king, but the actor didn't have any scenes with his wife.

You sure picked two good ones. However I don't think they have (as yet) appeared together in the same film.

Hats! We got hats! Though not necessarily in the movie I'm thinking of.

Top: Woody Strode got to show off his athlete's body as a gladiator.

Bottom: Peter Ustinov got to show off his acting chops and
win an Oscar.

The movie: Spartacus (1960)
