Was looking forward to watching Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid Friday night

on TCM but something went wrong and they aired a bunch of other stuff instead. Did this happen across
the entire nation or did my cable provider have an isolated problem?

with Bernadette Peters and Christopher Walken on Fri on TCM. I'd never seen it before. Never saw Steve Martin play a bad man before.

Maybe DMDWP is available on demand on TCM now?

I know a lot people might be put off by the song and dance numbers, but even the way it was voiced-over made it unique and special.

I remember thinking it was strange that it was rated MA, a Steve Martin movie, but watching it again reminded me why!

It happened to me in DC. Ben came out to introduce the movie but after that, the movie that played on screen was the movie that they had just shown called "Carnival" with Ann Baxter. I'm guessing this was a nationwide thing.

I’d recorded it but when I went to watch it there was about 10 minutes of black screen with no sound and then Ben Mankowitz was back on for the closing comments and hand off to the next movie. They ran a bunch of previews and ads and then the movie Carnival Story for the remainder of the 2 hour slot. I was very disappointed but fortunately our library has the DVD so I put a request in.
