I just love it, every little bit of it is so fun. The best part was definitely Aretha's 'Think". but this Jake & Elwood offerring was awesome as well.

I liked Rock and Metal and Country but never really thought of the origins of any of it.

Then the Blues Brothers started doing songs (Playing with RCA and Stax Records' best studio musicians no less) that were just SO COOL.

That led me to find out who played these songs first and that fed what became my lifelong interest in music...

I am positive it started with that SNL skit I saw when I was old enough to stay up, but too young to be out that late on a Saturday night.

I can't find the SNL clip, but I remember the moment perfectly;

Matt Murphy's rhythm was ringing clean and clear with that classic Gibson 335 sound and Steve Cropper just started dropping perfect sounding Telecastor riffs on the back beat.

The song was B Movie Boxcar blues. It was all the things to a 15 year old me.
