1. Dead Alive is great. Wasn't biggest fan, but like their live albums and Workingman's.

2. I am not a huge Dead Head

I respect them, but usually they are just another band to me.

BUT - I love the version of China Doll on Reckoning.

This is the most gorgeous live recording of a song in my memory. So damn beautiful

3. Their catalog was wide enough to make music that almost everyone liked.

My buddy in Zhongshan has a restuarant named Terrapin Station. And they serve turtles.

4. My favorite too!

Bertha and "Playing in the Band".
We drove from Taxco, Mexico to Acapulco and listened to that tape all the way. Sweet memories.
