Ian Anderson was spellbinding as he moved around the stage, playing all the different instruments, climbing up into the rafters.

a real experience with them. Ian Anderson used to just blow me away.
We went to see the 50 year tour and it was great. A little more subdued, of course. I still loved every second of it. I was surprised at how many young people were there. It seems that Tull still has a growing fan base.

innovative musician I've seen perform several times beginning 50 years ago at the Fillmore East.

(4,400 posts)4. I first saw them in 1971 @ the Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ.
Nice small venue.
The opening act was Yes who had just released 'Fragile', their first American tour. Tull had just released 'Benefit'.
What a show!!
