I'm getting old as hell, because I remember when that was released. It was a staple in every garage band's repertoire.

but I knew it wasn't a Hammond B3 with Leslie speakers. That was the preferred make and model for the rock super groups.

(2,948 posts)6. The Farfisa (and the similar Vox on 96 Tears) were smaller and lighter than the Hammond,
used transistors instead of tubes and fairly inexpensive. The Farfisa was used by the Kingsmen on Louie Louie, Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs on Woolly Bully and other 60s groups. Sly and the family Stone played on a Farfisa at Woodstock.
