Jimmy Witherspoon on the TV show "Black Omnibus" in 72. With a little baby Robben Ford on Guitar.

I love Mr. Witherspoon, but this thread is actually about Robben Ford.
He was recognized as a young man by some other well known performers. Some of whom are even famous away from their home of St Louis
He gets invited to pal around with some strong performers, on a pretty regular basis
He will play with anyone and sound like he's worked with 'em for decades
He's still around and was playing with another of my favorite guitarists just a few minutes ago
