live compared to their studio work. Too bad we didn't always get great recordings of them, but I saw both live several times.

Both of those groups were so much jazzier, funkier and more free flowing in concert than on their also fine albums.
Totally agree with your BOC, BTW. Never heard Head East live, but they sound great on this clip.

That one song is all I know of them. I liked it a lot back then. I still do.
