manager/program director. It's 50's and 60's music, but he goes way deep into the top 40 from those years. He even sprinkles in vintage commercials to really take you back.
It did well from the start and is still going strong. He's and old school boss radio style DJ and is great on the spots he does.
I love it because I was born in 1961 and so much of that music is unfamiliar to me. It's a least pretty easy to hear something I haven't heard for years that I like. I like hearing something like an Elvis song I may never have heard before.
I'm really a classic rocker but Cool is a nice change. I hat that classic rock stations, including ours here, seem to have a set playlist almost. If you listen to them for a couple weeks, you've heard most of what they are ever going to play. You'll hear like The Reaper, Godzilla and Burnin' for You by B.O.C., but never ME-262 or ETI.
I loved that deeps cuts Sirrius radio channel, I think called The Vault. That was deep cuts from classic rock albums. I started leaving that playing with my TV timer set when I went to bed. Fall asleep listening to some music at low volume and have it shut off after awhile. I had to change though because that one had me getting out of bed to see who's song I was hearing. I'd hear a song I may not have ever heard before but know that I should know who it was. It would drive me crazy if I didn't go find out.
