The lead vocal is by David Palmer who sounds far more like David Gates than Donald Fagen does.
By Countdown To Ecstasy, Palmer had largely been benched The Donald - The REAL Donald had taken over as vocalist.

It's a fan video. Not sanctioned by Donald and Walter (RIP). Still, it's not a bad attempt is it?
