Aside from "In Touch With Your World" any song could have been a hit.
Well, 4 of them were.
One of best debut albums ever.

...is that their follow-up, Candy O, was another gem & was released 1 year & a week after the debut.
In 53 weeks they released 2 albums with 7 hits!

but the debut album and Heartbeat City are the stand-outs for me. And as much as I like HC, it has such a different, more polished sound to it compared to all of the previous albums.

Mutt Lange produced that album. His sound is distinctive. You can hear it on those giant records by Def Leopard, AC/DC, Foreigner, et al.
It's the only Cars album he produced. Roy Thomas Baker produced the first 4. I'm into production tricks, but I prefer Baker's production because it's less dense. I like the emphasis on moments of empty silence in Baker's production. That said, Hello Again sounds fantastic.
