Liked Welch and always thought they were underrated. Interesting concert. They were one of the lead-up bands to Richie Havens in what I called the spring of quaaludes. People were so screwed up that a friend said it was like walking around on a boat deck in pitching seas. I still remember Welch, after playing softer tunes like Hypnotized, said "You all are too fucked up. We're just going to rock out."

Thanks. I will have another one for you at 6 PM MDT tomorrow. I am going to try a weekly post with about 8 youtube songs. I had done a similar thing for friends a couple of years back. It will be named "Saturday Night Deep Dive" and will focus on songs you might have heard but maybe not for a while. I have around 20 weeks' worth of stuff from the previous incarnation I can recycle for you. Give it a listen if you so desire. Be forewarned, I am pretty much a classic rocker and blues-rocker so axes will be prevalent.
