The Beatles Live at Shea Stadium - 1965

Probably the most fantastic example of the Beatles performing live. Be sure to catch John Lennon's antics on the final song "I'm Down" beginning at 27:44. Even Paul can't stop laughing.

took the subway all the way out to Shea Stadium.
And listened to the entire performance. We didn’t have tickets.

Got home quite late and my mother was beside herself, not to mention my friend’s mom, who was in the apartment as well. Needless to say, we were grounded for a while….

But we heard them sing 🎶 and it was worth it.

That crummy PA, no real monitors & all that screaming.
They couldn't actually hear one another.
