It takes a set of brass balls the size of baseballs to cover David Bowie
The Ugly Kings did a version of David's song Lazerus a couple years back that I like quite a bit too

(49,022 posts)5. Thanks! That cover of Lazarus is really good.
This video's description explains how they came to do that cover and record it:
In early 2016, we had the honour of being asked to perform for two David Bowie Tribute Shows. We decided 'Lazarus' to be one of the songs on our set list, paying our tribute and respect to 'Blackstar', the last album Bowie released prior to his passing. This interpretation of 'Lazarus' is exactly how we played the song during those tribute shows. It was an intense experience. This is our first recorded cover song, paying our dues to an artist that has influenced and touched the lives of an endless amount of fans and artists alike.
Thank you to David Bowie and to you for having a listen.
