The first song of his I remember liking was "Splish, Splash, I Was Taking a Bath."

This and "Beyond the Sea" were his two masterpieces.

Darin tackled numerous musical styles over the course of his career, and did them all well within a comparatively short time frame. The TV special that he produced toward the end of his life is remarkable, given that he was very ill at the time. I watched it on PBS a few years back, and it is worth taking in.
