I used to go to dances on Friday night at a local Parks and Recreation gymnasium. I'm thinking it had to be just before they made it big, but the Doors played there once, though it's kind of a blur to me now
Too bad for the blurriness of long past happenings, but hey, at least you got to be there! I was never that lucky, entirely missed seeing the Doors. Them, the Beatles and SRV are the 3 major bands that I adore and never got to see, Boo.

Only got to tour a couple of years so you shouldn't feel too bad about that, I never got to see SRV either. I know you said them as in the Doors but Them was an actual band led by Van Morrison, who I did get to see later when he had his own band, this is Them
