Laurie and I hosted a horsemanship clinic at our farm last weekend. I took lotsa pictures.

One of the riding patterns involved circling around the arena at a trot and then crossing a flat bridge. This is how one gal did it.

Each time I get to watch riders I'm amazed at their abilities to control such BIG animals in motion. Then when horse and rider near the completion of their pattern and everything has gone right, it's especially thrilling to witness a big smile on the rider's face.

I’m a city girl but I admire the skill of both the rider and the horse.. both train hard. Thanks for your variety of photos.. very enjoyable

I am just amazed how a human being can work in tandem with such a large animal. These riders sure have the gift. And George, you surely have the gift of capturing the scene so accurately and beautifully for us. Thank you for sharing!
