Cool image, though!

(150,765 posts)This is the first photo I've done that change with, so I'm probably being overly cautious!
Thanks, I love this image!

(14,559 posts)but it did clean up the halos a bit. Nice pic.
The difference I see is in digital noise--the second is much cleaner.
A good example of why shooting digital is better than analog (film). It's all ones n zeros . . . ya can do a lot with ones n zeros. Ya just can't 'fix it in post'. Gotta have some redeeming content to start with!

(150,765 posts)Cleaning up the digital noise is definitely worth while.
Thanks for having a look!

(12,331 posts)Really impressed with their software. A lot of shots I would have once deleted are now usable.

(150,765 posts)A couple of my friends use it, and it was their influence that caused me to buy it.
I expect to get a lot better at it, and to hopefully resurrect some photos that I might have discarded.

There won't be any more today; I've had a busy, on my feet day, and now I need my nap!

There was Topaz Gigipixel, Sharpen AI and DeNoise. They still exist, but Topaz introduced Photo AI which is intended to combine all three of the former standalone products in one.
There have been so many updates to Topaz Photo AI, that I am planning on paying extra to ensure I keep getting them. Seems like one nearly every week.
They give them free for a year; but usually on software, I just wait a few years and decide if I want to buy a new version or not.
I think with this software, it makes sense to buy the update plan. I use it a lot.
