I have been around for quite some time, and visit daily. I enjoy the DU community here, I just don't post very often.

I'd rather not post them here. Too gory even though I was interested in them not the dead thing but the blood was pervasive in the shots.

During one portion of my later working career I gave presentations on wildlife and one main point I would make clear is the very point you make. Life isn't pretty and all Disneywerld.

Time to make coffee.

Strange coincidence, I was just on your website, browsing your great pictures again... Trying to decide which to order.

I have been really lazy about uploading my latest pics. I have to put aside a whole day to bring it up to date.

Catching a raptor or any critter with its prey has always been the Holy Grail of wildlife photography for me. There is just something about seeing the Circle of Life in action that I can't resist. Fortunately I've been hanging out with some serious birders lately who can tell me where the nesting pairs are. Plus, I've been getting some exercise chasing them down.
