I just don't know how you spot them! They are so tiny and transparent.

4. yes, these guys are much smaller than the red eyed tree frogs and most of the other frogs that...

...i've posted here. they definitely are a bit harder to find, but they have loud distinctive calls that are almost like a whistle, so, most of the time, that's how i locate them. they're usually on the top or underside of leaves overhanging the water.
