I took this in Paris in May, 2019. Just cleaned it up a bit and thought it deserved reposting. (Original Post) CaliforniaPeggy May 2023 OP

For me, I'd always rather shoot without flash. It flattens images. erronis May 2023 #7

Hearing the nuns sing a cappella at Sacre Couer was a priceless memory.

I have quite a few taken inside Notre Dame (many years before the fire). I had a Minolta SLR camera and took pictures inside, even though you weren’t supposed to. Many tourists were and used flash, which was not cool as mass was in progress. I took my pictures without flash….which meant I had to stand perfectly still, I didn’t have a tripod. Happy to say that 99% of those pictures came out great….just a few blurry ones.

Being able to take a longer and steadier shot always brings out the best in the colors/tones.

Paris is always a good idea. Was in Venice just before Paris. Life is good.

A warning, though. Paris is already packed. If you are coming here this summer, get your online reservations as soon as you can. Lots of things are already booked solid. Got to see the Sarah Bernhardt exhibition at the Petite Palais. Seeing the Bellini exhibition at the Jacquemardt tomorrow.
